DG-UFC Unable to pair

Spent an hour trying to pair the DG-UFC with my Wireless Access Point (Cisco/Linksys WAP610N) using the iPad app.

Nothing I've tried works:

- reset camera (multiple times)

- reset WAP

- WPA Personal Security

-WPA2 personal Security

With no detail error message of the problem, I'm stumped. Perhaps it's something obvious (but not to me) that I've missed?

Hi dear,

Thanks for your support to Digoo.

1. Please make sure that the wifi network is 2.4G.

2. You should turn on the blue tooth for pairing the camera.

3. Try to reset the camera till the green light is flashing.

4. Please make sure that you have used the right app U-cam.

After trying the above solution, the problem still cannot be solved, please contact us agian via [email protected] and offer us a video about the connection.

Best Regards!

I finally got this going:

First I set it all up on an iPod Touch (much smaller - about the size of a phone) .... using exactly the same procedure as I had for the iPad. This worked and enabled the camera to connect with the wi-fi. After that, it worked OK with the iPad too.

This suggests that the Bluetooth pairing wasn't happening with the original iPad - perhaps the two devices weren't connecting because the Bluetooth antennas weren't close enough, given the larger size of the iPad (mini)? Even though I had the camera touching the iPad. In any event, it seems to me the U-Cam app should know that this (Bluetooth Pairing) is where it's having a problem and should report that to give the user a clue to where things are going wrong.
